What’s even better than bringing your students to the opera? Bringing the opera to them!

Shreveport Opera Xpress (SOX) wishes to visit your school and perform a young audience opera. Our productions are about 40 minutes long and in English. We provide sets, costumes, keyboard, and study guides for teachers to prepare students for our performances.

We are now touring Herman the Horse, Alice in Operaland, and SOX on Broadway/Bravo. You can even get your students involved with interactive performances . By charging a fee as minimal as $2.00 for every audience member, bringing SOX to your school becomes affordable (and you don’t have to write a grant…). For assistance in securing funding, please call us.
