Daniel Biaggi
Director of Artistic Operations - Palm Beach Opera

    Daniel Biaggi is Director of Artistic Operations at the Palm Beach Opera, where he programs and casts the company’s seasons in collaboration with Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, Bruno Aprea and is responsible for contract negotiations between company and artists as well as overseeing all activities of the artistic department. He coordinates the annual Palm Beach Opera Vocal Competition including selection of participants and jury members, and is an integral part in the casting of the Palm Beach Opera Resident Artist Program.
    Prior to his engagement at the Palm Beach Opera, Daniel Biaggi was Associate Director at Guy Barzilay International Artist Management in New York, co-managing the careers of over 40 singers worldwide.
     Mr. Biaggi has served on the faculties of Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College of Music, and Sarah Lawrence College in New York, coaching singers in operatic and art song repertoire with an emphasis on languages and diction. He has given master classes and performance seminars at the Juilliard School of Music as well as the Chautauqua Voice Institute, and has served as jury member for the NYIOP pre-selection auditions in New York. Mr. Biaggi has worked extensively for the Metropolitan Opera Guild, giving pre-performance introduction lectures and participating in the organization’s various Teaching Artist Programs as performer and educator.
    A classically trained singer, Mr. Biaggi has performed numerous operatic roles and recitals in the US as well as Europe. He holds a Post-Graduate and Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, a Bachelor of Music Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Certificate of Musicology from the University of Berne, Switzerland.
