American born Soprano Donata Cucinotta has already performed a wide variety of roles in her young career from Opera to Broadway, including Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte), Despina, (Cosi fan tutte),Mme Silberklang (Die Shauspieldirektor), Papagena ((Die Zauberflöte), Le Feu, (L’Enfant et les Sortilége) Euridice (Orpheus and Euridice) Nina (The Firefly), Rupunzel (Into the Woods), Cassie (A Chorus Line) and Fiametta (The Gondoliers), which was recorded for Albany Records.
Last season, Ms Cucinotta was invited to perform with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Ohio Light Opera, New Jersey Opera Theater, Shreveport Opera and was invited to sing at Weil Recital Hall as a finalist in the New Jersey Verismo Opera Competition.
Other Honors include Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Finalist, Joyce Dutka Competition Finalist, and First Place of the NATS Eastern Regional and Empire State Vocal Competition. Ms Cucinotta received her M.M. from Mannes College of Music and her B.M. from Ithaca College and has also trained at the Seagle Music Colony.
In addition to her vocal studies, Donata is an accomplished dancer and pianist.
